Tips for Throwing a Holiday Party in a Condo

The holidays are upon us, which is a great time to entertain friends and family and enjoy this special season with them. While throwing a party at a condo is similar to doing so at a house, there are some important differences. The following are crucial things to consider when hosting a holiday party in a condo or apartment:

-Let your neighbours know. They will appreciate the advance notice and can make adjustments to their plans if necessary. It’s also a good idea to give them your number so they can call you if things get too loud.

-Create a guest list. Since you will be in tight quarters, it’s best to create a guest list and send out invitations on social media or via email. In the invitation also include precise instructions on how to get to your condo. Ask guests to RSVP so you can plan accordingly for refreshments.

-Shift your furniture for more comfort. Consider moving your coffee table to create more standing room, shifting your couch so people can comfortably sit but still be involved in the party, and so on. Make your space feel open and airy.
